A contemporary impressionistic semi abstract mountain original landscape painting in blue and yellow.  Inspired by late autumn in the Scottish highlands.
In this modern atmospheric artwork I have tried to portray the dramatic and moody atmosphere of an autumnal evening on the west coast of Scotland with a dramatic cloudy evening sky and a unique textural grassy foreground in yellow ochre, and touches of green, portraying  the wind blowing and a hint of moonlight hidden behind the clouds.
​Painted in an atmospheric impressionist style with a palette knife and fingers with a textured effect.
