DEVILS POINT
An atmospheric Scottish landscape painting of the Devil's point, a pyramidal pointed hill that rises behind the bothy at Corrour. It lies at the southwestern end of the Lairig Ghru pass, that cuts through the high Cairngorm mountains in the heart of the highlands of Scotland, from Braemar to Aviemore.
A dramatic landscape, painted in muted autumnal ochre colours with a cloudy stormy sky and a touch of snow on the peak and cliff face. In this painting I have tried to portray the dramatic quick changing weather of this remote mountain wilderness area of Scotland. 8" x 8" in a white wood frame. Also available as professionally printed fine art giclee prints 12" x 12" or 20" x 20" on textured watercolor style paper. Other custom sizes and surfaces are available to order. |
