EIGG AND RUM

An original acrylic art painting on 8 x 8 inch canvas depicting the Scottish Hebridean islands of Rhum and Eigg. Painted with a palette knife in a loose gestural style in cool blues and greys with a warmer foreground of red, orange and yellow. In this small artwork I have tried to convey the atmosphere of a still tranquil evening beside the shore with the calm waters of the sea gently lapping against the rocky shore.
