PURPLE SEA STACKS

In this coastal seascape painting of sea stacks. I have tried to portray the wild coastal landscape of the remote and rugged areas of the British coastline with its high sheer cliffs and huge sea stacks constantly pounded by the waves of the sea.
Painted  quickly with a unique textural technique in a modern and contemporary style using a limited  palette of purple, with underlying blue as well as gold accents showing through the textural effect.
