STAC POLLAIDH AUTUMN

A small impressionistic Scottish mountain landscape study of Stac Pollaidh a hill in the north west highlands of Scotland depicted in autumnal muted brown and ochre colours with a dramatic cloudy sky. In this painting I have tried to portray the atmosphere of a sunny  day with the clouds swirling around the top of this rugged and remote highland mountain summit and the sunlight shining on the bracken covered moorland of the lower slopes.
An original acrylic art painting painted in an atmospheric semi abstract impressionist and textural style  on  8 x 8 inch canvas in a white wood frame ready to hang.
