In this modern contemporary Scottish mountain landscape painting of the iconic egg shaped peak of Suilven that rises above the west highland village of Lochinver, I have tried to portray the weather and atmosphere in a modern semi abstract impressionist style. This is one of my earlier works, done in an almost watercolour style, and paint splatter and unusual textural technique.
