An original wildlife bird painting of a Scottish Capercaillie, a large turkey sized grouse that lives in the pine forests of Scotland, particularly around the Rothiemurchus forest of the  the Cairngorms as well as woods and forests of Royal Deeside and the Caledonian forest remnant of Glen Tanar.
Painted on a slall square 8" x 8"  canvas in acrylics with an unusual textural technique.
